The Memorial Hall covers an area of 80 mu (mu, a Chinese traditional unit, with one mu equal to approximately 666.67 square meters) and is divided into the Service Management Area, Exhibition Area and Heritage Area based on the functions. The tower imitating the palace of Han style in front of you was constructed in 1986. As Zhang Qian died at an official rank of Grand Herald, the dual-door tower was therefore built based on the standard. The Exhibition Area extends from the tower to the Xiandian Hall across and consists of four exhibition halls of different exhibition themes, which comprehensively introduces the marvelous life of Zhang Qian and the connection between Zhang Qian Tomb and the Silk Road. We recommend you with the itinerary of Preface Hall, 1st Exhibition Hall, Heritage Area, 2nd Exhibition Hall and 3rd Exhibition Hall.
